College Freshmen

Some facts about this fall's incoming class, published by Beloit College. HT: Andrew and Lewis. Here are some that I found fun:

(19) Classmates could include Michelle Wie, Jordin Sparks, and Bart Simpson.

(23) Wal-Mart has always been a larger retailer than Sears and has always employed more workers than GM.

(32) They grew up in Wayne’s World.

(55) MTV has never featured music videos.

(68) Burma has always been Myanmar.

I also like #10 (No Saturday Morning Cartoons) and #12 (They Weren't alive for the Original NES heyday) from Andrew's list, since I remember them as a part of my own early childhood. It's moments like this that I feel both young and old at the same time...
